Planning to order a '23 Bronco Badlands next month and debating between cactus gray and Area 51. Going hardtop, non-squach with 33's.

What do you say autoboard? Pics?

I have a cactus gray 2-door and an Area 51 sport. Happy with both colors but I think I prefer the cactus gray.

You may forget what color you ordered by the time it gets delivered.

I've been happy with Cactus Gray, but the green was not an option in '21 or I would have chosen it.

Neither. They're both way oversaturated. Go with either Azure or Iconic Silver for colors that are close, but not so "everywhere." I see a ton of Broncos around B/CS. I'm a cyber orange, there's a red Wildtrak and a black Raptor. Other than that, every.damn.one is A51 or Cactus.

Order it in Transparent. Most of the Bronco orders end up being invisible anyway.

I've been trying to talk myself into a manual cactus 2-door for over year. That thing looks great!

Area 51 is my favorite but you do see a lot of them. If you have to choose something less common, I saw a Hot Pepper Red Bronco in a parking lot last year that looked terrific, and I have not seen another since. Velocity Blue also seems to suit Broncos pretty well.

I'm a fan of the OJ Edition myself.

O.J. would make a killing if he were to get into up-fitting Broncos.

Go with Area51 over cactus gray... cactus gray looks like a chick color... the wife confirmed this thought.

Agree on the chick aspect. It looks HGTV-ish

In most light, Cactus Gray looks like they shot primer on the Bronco and forgot to go back and spray the top coat.

Team green. Bonus points for actually running now. Shop free over six weeks, new Ford record.

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a carbon grey, but I've been seeing some hot pepper reds in the wild and think they're awesome. Don't hear too much on it, what's everyone's thoughts?

Thanks for all the comments. I know I'm in for a year wait with the order, and at this point, I can deal with that.

I test drove the Race Red Black Diamond at TV Ford a couple weeks back. Looks sharp, but I've been there done that with a red truck before. Never been a fan of Forest (Eruption) Green and I just can't get there, even with the Bronco. It's funny yall say that Cactus Gray is a chick color, because my wife said that about Area 51. She said it looked periwinkle and now I can't unsee it.

Leaning CG at this point and while it may be a popular color in CS, I have yet to see one in my area of Htown.

Either way, I'll post up pics of what I decide...if Ford ever builds it!

Carbonized gray or the candy appl green

Team Green here if / when I finally order one. That or some verson of carbon / silver.

Had a chance to buy a Wildtrack at order cost that a friend backed out of but it was CG and couldn't get over the color. CG is way overdone in Dallas.

Finally got mine. Wildtrak 4dr lux with hard top in shadow black.

Original 2021 order was antimatter blue which I still love by far out of all the colors since '21
2022 order that rolled over due to hard top issues would've been carbonized grey.
Overall, I'm pretty happy but would've really preferred that antimatter blue.

The grey is more pragmatic regarding internal temperature regulation and not showing dust and scratches, which is why it is most popular.

But who are we kidding? Scratches? These things are going to be riding pavement and maybe hitting manicured gravel roads for a few more years until they get some years and miles on them. I've still yet to see one out west where there are scratchy things, and I wouldn't either with that kind of investment.

I do like seeing the colors. People these days with their monochromatic vehicle color choices are incredibly boring. Pull up to an intersection and it's all Black, grey, white, or some kind of silvery color, and maybe the occasional red or blue sports car. Boooring. Only the Heeps and Broncos dare to be different.

Saw a red one the other day that looked great.

"Shadow Black" parked in a shadow made me chuckle

One of my friends had his roof and grill powder coated white and got white wheels. I really like the white roof. Kind of a throwback look.

I know Burgundy Velvet Tricoat was a option at one point
