Coming here to see if others have had this issue and if there is a fix for it.

I get complaints often (not always) of being very low on phone calls while connected to bluetooth/carplay in my truck. A google search shows this has been an issue for others, but I've contacted Ford and they don't have a fix. I went to the car audio store to see about them installing a new microphone or putting in an aftermarket radio/media (whatever they call them these days) and I guess that's not an option either. They haven't made the aftermarket parts for them to be able to do that, and talking to Ford - it's becoming nearly impossible to replace their factory radio because of how much other stuff is connected to the radio/computer/etc etc.

So any solutions?

Need to update your Sync to 3.4 Build 21194, or later

He likely has Sync 4 in a 2021. Just saw it's a F-250, not a 150, so I have no idea if it's a 3 or 4.

Tag for answers. Have the exact same issues in my 2020 F250 Lariat.

Had no issues in my 2018 Lariat, nor my wife's 2023 Expedition.
