So I am buying a truck from an out of town dealer.
They overnighted me the paperwork and I sent it all back signed with a Cashiers Check for the truck (their instructions).
Now they are saying the cashiers check was not in the package and they can't find it.
I can put a stop on the check, but then the funds are frozen for 90 days (which they nor I want to wait that long).
I can't scrape together enough cash to send another check while the funds are in limbo. What are my best options? Just take out a loan on the truck and then pay it off in 3 months?
I can't really put blame on the dealership from their POV they never received the check. Although I'm 95% confident it is floating around one of their desks or got thrown away.
Going to talk to the bank today to see if they can do anything for me.
