After sitting at the airport for 9 days, my 2015 Tahoe LT started up and immediately started doing weird suspension stuff it had never done before. It appears to be something wrong with this portion of our trailering package:

Z85 Premium Smooth Ride with Air Control , which constantly senses and adjusts the rear suspension height until it is level. It is part of the heavy-duty trailering package available on LS and LT.

Has anyone ever dealt with fixing this before? Happy new year to me.

Yep. Get new rear shocks.

I bought them through GM parts online and installed myself. Maybe $100 a piece. Then another $100 at GM to get them calibrated

Circling back to confirm for would be problem solves that it was in fact the rear shocks. Replaced those and problem solved.
