Palisade dead battery in the garage, how to switch to neutral?

Wife's palisade is parked forward in the garage. Dead battery. Need to back it out to jump it. Push start.

So how do I get it into neutral???

Try this

For reference, models that use electronic shift buttons such as Hyundai Grandeur, Sonata, Palisade, Santa Fe, and Tucson do not have a separate shift lock release button, and the shift lock is released by turning off the engine, pushing the brake pedal, and pressing the N (neutral) button for a long time.

Remove the good battery from the other vehicle. Carry it close by in the garage. Alternatively, remove the palisades battery, charge it via the other vehicle and return.

Or connect several pair of jumper cables to each other.
How old is the battery? If three years or more, go get a new one.

Is the gear shifter on the floor between the seats? If so, there should be a lever to be able to move the gear shifter.
