Any get a loan on a used vehicle recently and mind sharing the rate/term? Just curious what the lowest rates people have seen are. I know rates differ based on credit.

I'm looking to replace and rates seem to be all over and don't have a feel. Looking at 2020 or 2021. And yes, I know prices are high on used.

I just picked up a CPO 2020 BMW X5 through my law firm for 7.5% for 60 with me (excellent credit) co-signing to guarantee the note.

Got 3.9% at Randolph Brooks a few months ago for 60 months. Looks like it is 4.49 now.

Used? Crap skyrocketed 2 months ago when the Fed started continuously lifting rates (T&Ps for my mortgage that closed mid-October ).

Bank of America is showing 5.09 for 60 on their website, used through a name brand dealer (higher private sale or from Joe Bob's Auto Lot). Lower depending on your status in the rewards program.

Yep. RBFCU always has great rates on used cars as long as it is under 60k miles and no older than 4-5 years

Yep. Not sure if they'll take your note since their closest location to Houston is Gonzales. Space City Credit Union is 4.9%. The president there is a friend

Try Service First Credit Union www.s1cu.org. I'm refinancing a small note I did through Chrysler Capital to get a $750 rebate. They have 2.75 for up to 60 or 72 months I forget which. They told me they go up 2 years old as a new loan but I don't know what the mileage limitation is. I locked in at this rate on 11/1 just before the last FED rate hike. I do not know if they went up with the FED, but they are well below anything else I found. They are in Greenville TX east of DFW, not sure if it matters where you are, but you'd have to open some sort of account to be a member I'm sure.

1) it's corporate, so always higher, 2) non-promo rates are just plain higher nowadays.

About 5.4-5.5% is the best local CUs around here are doing on 48 mo used notes. About a point less for new vehicles.
