It is definitely running, and I can feel a little cool air at the vents when its on full blast but not much.

just not actually blowing the air.

from my research it may be a fuse?



any advice before I take it to the shop is appreciated

Check fuse, position 20 in the engine compartment fuse panel. You can swap it with position 21 (passenger seat motors). If the fuse checks out, most likely either the blower motor itself or the blend door actuator. But also double-check a few simple things like, that the cabin filter isn't clogged and that the condenser and evaporator are not clogged.

can you hear the blower motor on full blast?

Yes I can

Air from other areas? Floor and defrost?

so this is the second time this has happened on a 4 hour road trip.

the next day it worked perfectly fine both times.

maybe a coincidence...I dont know. but its working fine now.

If the blower is working and the air is icy cold then it's your blend door actuator most likely.

Blend door actuator or maybe blower motor resistor if it is blowing less than usual. If it just isn't cold, blend door. Part is cheap. Getting to it sucks on '17 and earlier, not sure on the '18 but suspect it probably sucks in a whole different way.

Not the same issue. Mine blows good more like it takes a few seconds to get to speed but fine afterwards. You have issues with the passenger side being wet from the ac drain?

yes I do!

Our 2019 expy a/c has a mind of its own sometimes. It'll switch on its own from low to full blast for a while then back down. Or Vice versa
