In 2017 I traded my 2005 911 with 120,000 miles for an Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio. I love the Alfa, but I sometimes miss driving a stick.

Any suggestions for a new (or at least late model) car with a stick, other than doing another 911?

I would have never guessed that Cadillac was an option.

Savagegeese covers everything you could possibly want to know about it. Unfortunately, don't think there will be many cars like it in future

You're going to sell the Quad?

$$$$?

Not sure yet about selling the Alfa. Probably 6 months or so away from that decision.

It only has about 36,000 miles and only about 4,000 on its new engine.

More on the new engine: Took it in for new tires and an oil change and Alfa called and said there were metal shavings in the oil and I needed a new engine. I was a bit skeptical, and was 2 months past the expiration of my 4 year warranty, but they called back and said Alfa was going to cover it anyway. So, it's almost like new, except I still don't know what caused the problem, and/or if it is going to happen again.

I don't know if the new engine makes it more or less attractive to a prospective buyer. For me, I would probably say less, just because it carries some uncertainty. If I do end up selling it, I will throw it out here first, although I am in Florida, so that may be another negative factor.

Anybody know where I can get a rotary dial phone? I just think it is so much more fun making a phone call with one and don't mind the little bit extra work. Thanks,

Modern paddle shift automatic transmissions are becoming really really good but it's hard to beat running through a gear box even if it slows you down. I doubt many are breaking track recrods anyway.

WRX or Civic (if you can find one and don't mind paying $5-10k over). Also the VW GTI DSG is kind of the best of both worlds, just no clutch.

Like manual transmission automobiles, rotary dial phones are less likely to be stolen.

That Blackwing is a blast to drive I bet. I might just be worried about reliability.

I have an ATS Coupe and it's a blast to drive and it's not a V.

He probably prefers autotune and programed drum tracks too because of, you know, technology.

Love (almost) all of the replies to this inquiry, including the exhaustive list. Unless I choose to deal with my completely unfounded and irrational bias against Subaru and BMW, it looks like the top contenders are the Cadillac and another Porsche.

I have not driven an American brand in 30 years since my Bronco II (with a stick, BTW) was totaled by a drunk driver, but I think I am going to have to check out the CT5.

Many thanks.

Once again Subaru has proved to be the sleeper champion of the AB with the most sticks in their lineup AND symmetrical AWD.
