My son is having transmission problems on his 2009 Honda Accord. There has been a recall on the transmission software.

Thank you Mr. Dubi. My son bought the car used a few years ago. I'm asking how to find out if it was serviced to fix the problem a recall was issued for.

Dealership will have the record of the service. Not sure if yhey will give it to you over the phone or how that would work. But normally off the Vin they can pull up and service work any dealer has done on the vehicle.
