My HD radio (Grace note) with SiriusXM comes on most mornings and plays normally. Bluetooth connects to phone and I can make and receive calls through the audio system.

The rest of the day the radio comes on, but no sound comes out of the speakers. Calls won't come through the speaker either.

All the other buttons and apps work, except those requiring HD (weather and traffic). Craziest thing.

Sometime, rarely, it will work in the afternoon or evening. Most times it won't.

Is it a loose wire like most websites say it is, or could it be something else?

Is this something for a dealership to look at or a place that specializes in car radios?

Probably better off buying a salvage radio.

95% of all dealerships have an outside radio company come look at this stuff.

Almost all of those guys dont know what to do, so they just swap them out and toss them to a box where they'll get repaired.

I have two identical 2011 Siennas and the FM radio hasn't worked in 4 years. I can get some stations but it's like I'm in the middle of the country and nothing tunes in clearly. The both went out around the same time. There is some sort of antenna issue, perhaps within the radio itself. I don't care enough to find a fix.

My "fix" was to buy a $99 Bluetooth speaker that we play our Amazon Music or Sirius XM apps through. We use Audacy for local stations in the event of weather or other emergency situations.

This fix worked for one of my employees.
