Truck threw a code so I took it in. Bad NOx sensor. Not too expensive, but none are available anywhere. I've called around and they are hard to find. Not sure if it downstream or upstream. How long can I drive on the bad one if necessary?

Are you paying or is Chevy/GMC? Isnt the NOx sensor apart of the emissions? If so, doesnt it have a 5 year/50k warranty?

Rockauto appears to have AC DELCO and Standard Motor Products in stock both up and Down stream.

Current discount code for 5% is 36045DF776AEB6
Expires: July 14, 2021

Didn't know your specs but I looked at an 18 bowtie 2500 6.6. I would think it's the same part for all L5P, no matter the truck.

I had the RockAuto one in the cart, then the shop called and said they found one. They're knocking $100 off for keeping the truck overnight.

I'm usually a DIY person, but with this I don't have the ability to program the ECU with the new sensor.

Crap happens sometimes I guess
