I have a 2019 F150 4X4 and would like to level it. What is the best leveling kit out there?

Sixty bucks!

Or, you can just take out the lift blocks.

Probably not what you meant.

Bilstein 5100...

Just to clarify, I would like to raise the front.

Search around on the Bilstein 5100. It's a shock with an adjustable spring perch, it can go from stock height up to 2" or so up. Less problematic than spacers.

If I keep my 2015 F150, I'm getting this one:

Roush F-150 by Fox 2.0 Suspension Kit 422014 (15-20 4WD F-150, Excluding Raptor) (americantrucks.com)

I've had the Bilstein 5100s and they are fine, I just want to try out something different.

As someone that has had both Bilstein 5100 and Fox 2.0's on an F150, I'd get the Bilstein every time if doing it over again. My $.02 based on price, build quality, customer service, and ride quality.

I put the Bilstein 5100's on my 2016 F150.
Set them at +1.75"
Did not lift the rear.
Also increased the tire size to 275/60/20 tires (Michelin LTX AT2's)
Had the setup for over 2 years now. Mostly (90%) highway driving - rest beach/coast and ranch/lease.

Thanks for the feedback. I have no complaints about the 5100s on my Tundra so I may have to go that route again, plus they are a heck of a lot cheaper.

What problems have ppl run into with spacers?

I've looked at these before but had not pulled the trigger

Bilsteins are back ordered thru June at least. They will take care of distribution channels first before retail

The one thing I have heard is that you end up pre-extending the shock (which leads to early failure) unless you get something longer, in which case you might as well upgrade to the Bilsteins or Fox type setup.

Went with the Bilstein 5100s and have been very happy. Also updated to 285/60s BFGs.

How much does levelling a truck run if you use the Bilsteins?

Spacers are in the $50-100 range and the bilstein 5100 are $286 just for the front struts ...If paying for labor I imagine would be similar as you pretty much have to disassemble and assemble almost the exact same stuff other than having to transfer the spring and strut mount over for the bilstein.

I was quoted $400-something to do a spacer leveling kit and alignment. So I bet Bilstein's would be in the $700 range?

I've been waiting patiently for bilstein to ramp up production and backlogs to come in. I've called all over the country and have gone locally for install quotes. Pricing for the components is consistently close to $550 -700 for front and rear. Cheapest install with components has been 835 and highest 1100. This includes alignment

Says ETA late February from manufacturer. So not too far out ? But it's much cheaper than what you've been getting. Unless you're looking for rear shocks to complete the kit.

Yeah my quotes are full swap front/rear. I called stage 3 and they are taking care of backlog orders first and may not get to retail orders until may/June. But, it's all dependent upon what they actually get in.

With bigger tire does it throw off speedometer ? Any way to re program?
Would likely be looking at 285/60 also

I have a leveling kit on my '20 F150. I have always run the 275/55/20 BFG on my F150.

Do you like the look of the 285/60 better? I don't know anyone running those and am curious.

Strongwind86 above runs the same tire and has a pic posted. I think it makes the wheel wells appear a little fuller. I think the tire is only slightly bigger than stock basically a 33x11 I believe

Sorry 275/60 not 285/60

Here's what I considered when selecting my tires.

Looking at sizes, many only come in LT/E rated sizes.
The difference in weight between the tires is significant.
The Michelin LTX AT2's that I bought (275/60/20) are 45# each.
An LT285/60/20 tire runs 62# +/-
(for reference the stock P.O.S. Wrangler SRA's - 275/55/20 weigh around 40# each)

The LT 285/60 are around 38% (+12#) heavier than the P275/60 I put on my truck and around 55% heavier (+22#) than the stock 275/55/20's.

I don't need the load/LT rating for what I do with my truck. Having an additional 17# - 22# on each wheel will have an impact on mileage.

I haven't seen a material impact to my mileage with the 275/60/20's. While 5# heavier than stock, they are a little narrower and taller (33" vs 32" stock).

You'll see a slight difference on speedometer with 285/60s. Haven't noticed a ton on gas mileage so far. I like the stance and how it fills the wheel well. It's personal preference between that at the 275s I feel like. Haven't been disappointed yet.
