Question for the board

Looking at a 86 cj to drive around locally for fun, does anyone know a local jeep repair person that would be able to do a basics look over / inspection? Need to know what I'm getting myself into and I'm not mechanically inclined enough.

Would prefer west side of Houston / Katy.

The beauty of CJ7s is their simplicity. (Though there is a lot of emissions stuff - vacuum systems, etc.) All of which is to say that any good mechanic should be able to hit the high notes.

I have an 86 and love it as a cruiser. Slow cruiser, that is.
