Tony Buzbee bought a few thousand acres in east Texas recently and has been doing a ton of work out there. He just posted yesterday this is his rig for the ranch. Guess he doesn't care too much about the color(see his comment). It's a ridiculously sweet rig, but has got to be the nicest "ranch rig" in all of Texas.

I'm guessing those are stock photos? He says he hasn't seen it yet so I'm thinking that isn't the actual one he's getting. Otherwise I'd be pissed if they were testing it off-road before delivering.

What kind of work is he planning on doing at this ranch? It doesn't look terribly useful unless all he wants to do is get from point A to point B with only a small handful of tools and supplies.

I think it is technically "used". Wasn't custom built for him, he's just buying it. So no telling what changes happened.

All I've seen him post about is taking in a bunch of exotics. He's got a ranch hand out there, so he's basically just going to be driving around, living the dream. The place does look awesome though. Called Antioch Ranch.

Because the lettering broke and fell off when the mechanic was working under the hood

That kinda money, the "work" he's doing is driving around to look at whatever the dudes he's paying to do the actual work have done.

Looks like Heritage Driven is like Helderberg -- taking used Defenders and doing a ground up restoration. I'd buy one if I had the money.

What's the shock above the rear wheel on the roll cage for? Looks like there's a vertical pivot point right by the spare. Is that shock really a strut that allows the roll cage to pivot up and fold back? Is it a suspension component attached to the top of the shock tower by a pivot like aerial atom suspension? I can't figure it out.

I think the back of the roll bars pivot up, it looks like a stand in the horizontal position just before the spare tire. Rotate and you have a nice elevated stand.

I think it's just outside of Atlanta, TX. Pretty far east to me. Anything east of Houston is East Texas.

Looks like a crane/winch pulley in the middle of it. It pivots up/rearward from the cab roof, maybe to load stuff into the bed?
