Need brakes looked at on Tundra. Anyone with a good shop in CS?

Stratta Auto Repair off south college or Brazos Valley Automotive are the two places I take mine to.

I've heard nothing but good things about the guys above.

I'd add Aggieland Automotive. When I lived in BCS they did me a great job, and they still do for my 77 year old mother in law who still lives there. They're not the cheapest but they are straight shooters.

As long as I'm making service recommendations, if you ever need a body shop go see Doug at Classic Collision.

It's rare I need a place, but Brazos Valley Automotive has earned my trust and therefore my business.

I'll add B&B Automotive and Gladney Automotive to the mechanical repair suggestion list.

At the recommendation from others on the Auto Board (and a local I know) - they recommended Sevcik's Auto when I needed someone to look at my daughter's Honda when she was a student at A&M. They were honest in dealing with her - I didn't need to step in and raise hell about what they were doing and charging. They took care of the issues with the Honda quickly.

I'll second Sevcik's. They could have taken me for thousands on a time chain bust on our Acura when I was a poor student, but they didn't.

Gladney is the best in town, it's who the big dealers call when they can't figure out complicated issues.

DO NOT choose Sevcik's. They will not correct their mistakes.

They left the cap off of my oil tank on a service visit and i didn't realize it until much more damage had been done to the engine. They refused to make me whole. Very disappointing.

Guess I should feel fortunate they just changed the sticker for 2 of my oil changes but never touched to oil!
