Agreed, and with that being the case, why would you buy a jeep version?
buckofive can tell you. he sells new homes. you'd be amazed at how many people driving $100K vehicles can't qualify for a mid-$300K mortgage. it's actually pretty sad and scary.Flaith said:
They said that Wagoneer would be its own Luxury make, with the Grand Wagoneer being the first of several upscale SUVs. Sounds like they are going right at Land/Range Rover.
Also, how the fewk can the market support so many $100k vehicles? Who the hell can float this kind of payment and still afford mortgage and living expenses?
it seems like the Jeep crowd once had that mentality too. now days, the Jeep crowd seems a lot different.MouthBQ98 said:
There's a reason I wheel in an old nissan. I'm in Only $10K, it's got dual lockers and full underside plates and skids and a lift, and it's still more reliable than a Jeep straight off the factory floor, even after 160K miles.
Anybody thinking about getting this hybrid?Furlock Bones said:

so, interestingly, the electric option should be great off road. electric is more efficient at slow speeds.MouthBQ98 said:
Good numbers on the engine. It does depend on what speeds it will run electric only on, or if it is just "electric assist". It also means when it catches on fire, the fire will be extra dramatic when it reaches the Lithium battery pack.
