Thanks. I had an 06 Z71 Ext. Cab that I foolishly sold about eight years ago to get into a F150 Platinum, which was a great truck, but I miss the simplicity and ability to work on something myself. I've come across a few on eBay the last few months, but either they're beat to **** or they want an arm and a leg. Just a waiting really.

My 04 has 285k and I've been on the fence about selling it for a while. Finally made the call to rebuild the front end, so I've got all new control arms, tie rod ends, and hub assemblies.

Given the mileage and need of front end rebuild, I figured the replacement cost of the truck would be significantly higher than what I'd be able to sell it for. Expect that I'll eventually regear to 4.10 to help with truck *****

Good luck, a 14-16 year old truck with less than 150k is a unicorn. I have a 2004 and 2006, both with 175K, and both have gone through cycles where they aren't used much.

I do have a 2002 2500 with 85K on it, but it's an oddball. Love the crazy thing, but the 8.1 and 4:10 gears means 11mpg is a good day.

I bought the Tahoe not too long ago with 109K miles. It's not impossible to find them, just requires some patience.

GMT800 is the model from 1999-2006 that shares that body style.

2007 was GMT900, but there were still some GMT800s produced late in 2006, but were 2007 model year. Those were called "Classic" to designate them as a GMT800

You can extend your search criteria by 1x year, 03-07c are the years of what nephsons refer to as "cateye".

Nephson? And by cateye, I assume you mean the headlight configuration?
