Most of the dirt car racing games over the years have been absolute trash. I had a PC sprint car game back in the late 90s that actually had transmissions in the cars. I watched a youtube video and it actually looks like they got a lot right. I'm all in. I... I mean my son... needs this game.

Looks like it's going to be fake tracks. Kind of a bummer especially when Stewart owns Eldora but still might be a fun dirt game, they don't come around often.

iRacing has dirt tracks with Outlaws, modifieds, etc.

From what I read a lot of that stuff is tied up in licensing to another game, maybe the one referenced below. Since this game has the ASOC drivers, one would assume Eldora and other Stewart properties are coming at some point as downloadable content.

It is a PC online racing game. They have a lot of different racing series to compete in. They probably wouldn't get down to the detail of having a push truck. After a wreck, you hold down a button for a tow to the pits. You can also get online and be a spotter for someone in a race.

Yep from everything I've seen/heard iracing is the most realistic racing game out there. Dale Jr is a big promoter and NASCAR has their own series through it as an esport, they show weekly races on their social media platforms.

Seems like in order to do it right (equipment/computer/tracks/cars) it takes a pretty big investment. One day I hope to get into it. A few weeks ago they were scanning the old North Wilkesboro to put it into the game. Racing at tracks like that and doing late model and legends races at places like 5 Flags makes the investment worth it imo

Yes. Also it appears it will be available on Steam

Hope they make that game available on GamePass for xbox and PC

Yes there is an in-car view along with the typical hood and front bumper views. Played it for about six hours today. Went thru one season and did not advance out of the TQ Midget series. Took awhile to get use to how the game steers, it really doesn't require counter steering after initial turn in, even with all assists turned off

It does on the advanced levels when you loosen the car up

New game coming out this Friday from Tony Stewart. Looks like an extension of the sprint car game but for modifieds, street stocks, and legend cars.

Meh, that's not for me. I know there is a big appetite for it, though. I prefer the open wheel racing. The Sprint Car game released Knoxville as DLC several weeks ago, which was pretty awesome.
