Jay Leno had this guy from Idaho out who specializes in full revamp of old chevys. I prefer the looks of the '72 myself.

I'm restomoding a '66 in the same color scheme but in a different direction:

Short bed, big window fleetside, lowered, upgraded suspension, 4 wheel discs with small block 400 and a few other details. Chopped a locust tree down in my yard for the bedboards.

Lots of cab rust I had to repair...fun learning how to weld.

That guy can be an interesting follow on IG. Every once in a while he will go OFF about something, or someone. He ripped into the sub who did the interior for that Ponderosa truck once - quite publicly. He is a however a little over-protective of the C50 platform; as if it were his own. He's called out several other builders who have done C50 based builds - even ones that don't resemble Duke at all. He does do come cool stuff though.

International Loadstars are all the rage too. It's a popular platform for Cummins swap, lowering, custom bed... If they're lucky enough to find one there are the TravelCrew (crew cabs) to work with.



I used to haul grain in a twin screw loadstar with a 6-71 that had a straight pipe. The guys at the elevator knew I was coming when I started it up in the field to build air pressure.
