I had some enterprising young man take a Zappos package on 12/21 and thanks to Ring I got to see it in almost real time from the shltter of my hotel in Park City. What kind of truck is this, I'm thinking a last gen Tundra?

Anyway, he should have some really clean kicks with the shoe cleaning kit that he commandeered.

I'm thinking it's a Tundra TRD, just like my 2012 but his has the chrome handles.

No....He was gone as I opened the app.

I don't understand being on the phone.

I know it is way advanced for petty theft but they can "triangulate" (or whatever it is called) and prove he was on your property at the exact time of the crime.

They could prove he is in a small geographic area, but won't put the effort into doing this for a petty crime. You'd need an assault, rape of murder for the police to make the effort.

He could also be using the phone as part of his cover if someone asks what he's doing. "Hey man, I'm just picking this package up for ____, just got off the phone with him."

he's not actually on the phone. just makes it look like he is where he belongs/less suspicious.

the thief that stole the package off my porch did the same thing. phone was dropped as soon as they were back at their car.

Who the hell steals shoes? You don't even know if they fit!

Probably usable cause it was an Uggs shoe cleaning kit.

They aren't stealing things to keep them. They're being sold online.

Lol my wife ordered it for her shoes but....I do have some normal looking Ugg winter boots and they're very comfortable. Dont knock it til you try it.
