Been eyeing this for a while and once it came available wanted to finish building it. If you were ever on the 67-72 forum you might have seen it on there as "Tubby". It is a 1969 C10 Suburban shortened to make a make a Tahoe never built. The rear end has been shortened 12" and the wheelbase shortened by another 8". A 4th door has been added and both will be suicided. My good friend Chris at Mobile Toys Inc. in College Station will be building it. Alamo Customs in Alvin will be doing the body and paint. If you ever want top notch work done they are great guys to work with. Chris is an Aggie.

Pic links no worky, but that "Tahoe" is really cool!

At the shop I work at in B/CS, we have a never built by GM '70 extended cab 4x4 dually. Comes complete with a 12 valve Cummins!

No, not stock. The dually pickup bed didn't come about until the square bodies. Before that a dual wheel 30 would have been a cab & chassis truck. Most of the custom dually beds you see on 67-72's are combination of a pickup bed as some step side pickup bed fenders of similar vintage attached to it.

@silvy.... I do like that Cummins - but in a 4x4 when I do it.
