My trusty Avalon with 220,000 miles needs a new passenger side CV axle. I noticed grease splattered everywhere when I went under to replace the oil.

Saw some brands DTA, Cardone... Price seems reasonable.

Going to replace both. Any recommendation on a particular brand? O'Reilly parts ok?

Goal is to get 300,000 miles out of this car.

TIA

I want to know how the 300K goes. Just bought my wife her 5th Avalon - one of every body style. My soon to be 16 year old daughter gets the '14 with 104K - I say "just getting broke in". No major maintenance on it other than all 4 struts.
DD may just be nice, but says she loves the '14. I see her friends getting cars - she is young for her school class and almost everyone else already has their license - and I see parents making horrific decisions (in my opinion) on cars. When did 16 year old girls start getting 4-door jeeps or boys getting sports cars or new trucks? When did it become a "right" for 16 year olds to get new cars?

Sorry, no info on your CV joints.

I bought a 2008 Avalon Limited with 76,000 miles for $13k in 2016 January knowing I will be putting 40,000 to 50,000 miles per year. Oil change every 15,000 miles with mobil1 sunthetic, transmission fluid flush twice, new struts, new brakes and rotors, one CV ball bearing... I think that's about it. Mostly maintenance items and low cost parts.

Rock solid, smooth, reclining back seats I can't enjoy and it holds 4 sets of golf clubs.

I drive the crap out of it. And it runs quietly and powerfully everyday. It definitely runs differently than a Camry.

I will keep driving it. I think I can get way past 300,000 miles.

Bought both cv axles fron O'Reilly for $150 with a life time warranty. I guess I can't go wrong with that.

Our '07 was my favorite until the new '19.
The body style change in '12 reduced some of the back seat room.

The '14 just got rotors, brakes, and struts. Probably need to do the transmission fluid change now.

I just saw one of the '19s on the road the other day. This is a great looking car now.
