Need new headlights for an '07 Tacoma, '06 Silverado and probably a '99 Hyundai.

Is Rock Auto the best place to get these?
And what is the difference between NSF and CAPA - are they both "equal" just different designations within the aftermarket arena?

TIA

Look at ebay and Amazon. You will likely find the same offerings for less. I've bought the NSA and CAPA lights for cars only to have them start crazing/yellowing after a year or two. I saw no difference between the Depo/Eagle Eyes you will get cheaper elsewhere.

Whatever you buy, get them clear coated or you'll be replacing them again in a year when the UV protection fails and the lens gets foggy. I've had terrible luck with all aftermarket headlights with respect to that.

The aftermarket housings I bought for my 04 didn't last long before they were worse than the OE housings.

My recommendation is to put some effort in cleaning them up before buying aftermarket.

I have used rockauto for some and 1Aauto on another and have no issues 2 years later. Only minor issue is getting the beams sighted in

I replaced my neighbors 09 taco headlights with a set from rockauto. Went with the CAPA certified grade and paid $76 each. Supposed to be higher quality than the basic, cheap ones they also sale.

I put new TYC brand assemblies in 2 trucks about 2 years ago and they still look great. I bought thru RockAuto.

Damn, with all that work may as well go with OEM.

I agree, I found a guy on craigslist that had put new headlights on his 2018 truck.

Picked up basically new ones from him for $100

I like and trust JC Whitney for parts.
Cow Hop Ag and Bayside both say they are conservatives.
Bayside admits to being pro choice.
Bayside calls Cow Hop Ag a liberal because he's a moral man.

Hard to get OEM on something older. You're either going to pay a ton or it isn't going to be available.

A 2K clear over the lights works well and is <$20.
