What's your favorite windshield wiper blade brands/models? Do you go cheap and replace often, or expensive and less often?

I got the Trico brand last time they were on sale at oreilly's. Had never used them, or heard of them, but they've been the best wipers I've ever had.

I have tried to like Bosch but have hated every pair we've had. The ones on our F150 were good for about 2 weeks before they started skipping. They will be my last pair of Bosch ones ever. I have had great luck with the Tricos on my Tundra. I will either get Trico or try a different brand on the F150 next.

Trico break to fit for OEM ford.

But I have some kind of rain x blade on my truck that seems to last forever.

Put on a couple pairs of Michelin blades on our vehicles and they have done pretty well with rain/ice/snow.

My 15 F250 is using its original blades.

My 18 F150 (same blades) are wore out. Go figure.

I usually buy Bosch Clear advantage from my wholesaler, they're less than 6 bucks each.

Do y'all do anything fancy to clean your windshields when switching out blades? I've heard of folks rubbing it down with alcohol, some use a claybar. Supposed to help keep the blades from skipping/squeeking/or streaking for longer. I've always just put on new blades.

I keep the blades themselves clean, hit them with the sponge at the gas station ever once in a while. Often people think blades are bad when really they're just gunked up
