My nephew is selling his friend his 2013 Jeep Wrangler. How is the sales tax, if any handled?

When his friend goes to register the Jeep and transfer title at his county tax office, they will collect the sales tax.

Enter the VIN/mileage in the online spv calculator for the spv amount. Multiply that amount by .8 for the taxable value. Then multiply the taxable value by .0625 for the amount of tax he will pay.
