Boring headlight question (2007 GMC Sierra)...

Around a year ago one of my low beam headlights went out so I replaced both with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs. They produced a high quality of light and did well...until one burned out yesterday. I've done a bit of research and found that this quick life tends to happen to them for many people.

Do any of you have suggestions for a good quality bulb that will last longer than 1 year? I don't need anything fancy, but would like something at least somewhat economical. It's for a 2007 GMC Sierra H11 style.

I ran 5000k HIDs in my F150 and loved them. Only had to replace one ballast in 7 years and that was in a fog light. Be sure to tilt your headlights down a little if you go this route to help reduce oncoming glare.

I use DDM Tuning's kit, I installed a 5000k 55w kit a few weeks ago.
