I'm completely clueless when it comes to car audio, so bear with me.

I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Willy 2-door. Standard touch screen stereo, but I installed 4 mopar kicker speakers.

Need upgrade/install recommendations for best/loudest sound. I primarily listen to punk/sludge/shoegaze/etc so I want it loud & with heavy bass - but not rattle-the-car-next-to-you base.

Any suggestions??

I would highly suggest using a dsp. The speaker placement and loss of midbass is pretty bad and you'll need one for everything to sound good. Plus you can save different tuning profiles for with and without top.

You want a downfire sub for the best bass (assuming you can put a box in the back). Otherwise there's a guy on wrangler forum that sells a under seat box.

If that head unit doesn't have preamp outs don't even think about using it.

External amps are where you'll get the power.

Here's my audio build thread: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f314/sandy-sues-jku-audio-build-1992098.html#/topics/1992098

Sorry about the pictures....photobucket can die in hell.
