I have a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x2. 5VZ-FE V6 3.4L, automatic. 250,500 miles. It's been my daily driver since I bought it. My in-laws gave me an old Accord that I plan on using now and I'd like to sell the 4Runner. What's a fair price to list it?

I purchased this in 2009 with 163k miles. Other than routine maintenance (oil change every 5k, air filter):
180k (2010) - Tundra brake upgrade (rotors, calipers, pads, 16" wheels)
190k (2011) - new radiator
198k (2012) - drain/refill transmission fluid, filter
201k (2012) - spark plugs
208k (2013) - replace shocks & struts
221k (2014) - rebuilt starter
222k (2014) - differential breather mod, drain refill differential
228k (2015) - Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, flush radiator, crankshaft seal, drive belts
240k (2016) - new tires (Cooper Discoverer SRX)
250k (2017) - brake booster, master cylinder
250k (2017) - fuel filter, fuel pump
250k (2017) - rotors, pads

After market CD player, put in the between the seat cup holders from 99+ 4Runners, increased air intake mod, couple other things I'm probably missing. Nothing mechanically unsound, interior in good condition, A/C works perfectly. Dent in hood and front bumper from the previous owner, crack at the bottom of the windshield under the driver wiper, couple of chips. Very reliable and will be sad to see it go.

Don't sell that bad boy. Solid front axle swap, convert to 4x4, front and rear lockers, put it on 37s, and roll like a boss!

Online appraisal tools show something in the range of $1500-$2000 maybe. If it was me, I'd hang on to it.

you could probably get an extra 500 if you get rid of that cargo tray in the back that looks bloodstained

haha...my wife said the same thing. I've decided to keep it. So up next is a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab. 4-cylinder, manual transmission, 4x2, power nothing. 148,500 miles. Excellent condition. Again, been serviced regularly. Timing chain, no belt. Needs spark plug change which I have, just haven't done.

Comes with fresh blood stains on both front mats.

Do you mean like KBB, Nada, etc.? Are those accurate?

The Tacoma I'm now thinking of selling:
KBB: $9,151 (very good), $8,383 (good)
NADA: $10,550 (clean retail), $8,025 (clean trade in)
Texas SPV: $6,550
