I just purchased an 09 F-150 and I would like to put a lift and new tires wheels combo...So I don't want anything to crazy thinking about a 4" lift and putting some 33" tires on.

Question 1: Just do a body lift or a full suspension lift?

Question 2: How big of tires can I put on without having to put on fenders?

Never done anything like this. Planning on driving on few years and then passing down to son! Thanks for input.

You can put 5150 Bilsteins on it and run 33". With a 4", 33s will look tiny.

So go with 35's? Do i just need to replace all shocks with the 5150's? and adjust appropriately?

Replace the shocks all around (an 09 probably needs it anyway) and lift the front to level it out and 33s tuck nicely.

Wonderer is right. Shocks and a leveling kit will be less expensive and look good. I suggest shocks regardless on a 8 year old truck. A 4" lift will also look really nice if you want the unmistakable "lifted" look.

Yes it is 4wd. Thanks for the advice. So shocks and leveling kit.. sounds like the most economical way to go. Do the 5150's fit f-150? What type of leveling kit do I need?
