2014 Ford Explorer Sport - Intermittent Air Bag light

Getting an intermittent air bag light. Have not been able to correlate to which seat, passenger/no passenger, etc.

Is there a TSB or anything on this?

Still in warranty so I'll take it in, just seeing if anybody has a quick answer (1ags)

We had the same problem with our 14 Explorer. It was the connection where the sensors connect to the harness under the passenger seat, had gone bad. It was causing misreads on if someone was or wasn't in the seat. Was covered under warranty.

Could also be the seat belt tensioner (which that connector under the seats goes to).

Usually under seat connector for pass airbag is the culprit.

We're having this issue on a 2014 as well. Is this something that can be DIY or does it require the dealership to do it due to airbags? I can do most things but don't want to deploy an airbag while working on it ;-)
