Got my 2016 F150 Lariat FX4. It has the 20" Goodyear Kevlar OWL tires. I'm not a fan of the OWL from a cosmetic standpoint...... but not really interested replacing the tires because of that. Truck had about 5,000 miles on it.

My question.
Of course I can take the truck to Discount Tire and have them take the tires off the wheel and put the OWL on the inside. I'm concerned that when I do I'll have balance and wear issues since the tires have been "operating" as installed. Not a fan of Goodyear tires... I've had issues with several of them over the years....

Anyone have any experience or words of advice?
If I do it make sure the rolling direction doesn't change?

Thx SW86

If you just flip them and don't move what corner they are on, isn't just the same as doing a rotation (assuming you do a rotation where you just flip what side of the vehicle the tire is on, which maybe not a conventional rotation)

You shouldn't have any issues, especially being a new truck and new-ish tires. This is commonly done on dually trucks during rotations.

Thx for some confirmation.
Was concerned about moving off the wheel... But as long as they are rolling the same direction I'm thinking I should be good.
