How long do you want to ignore this user?
Wife's 2012 Cruze with 1.8L, 63K miles. Popped this code U0109, Lost Communication with Fuel Pump Control Module. Anything I need to be concerned about? Should I break out the multimeter and start probing connections? If so, where? Also, the code didn't clear it when the parts monkey at Autozone pulled it. Is there a way to get it to clear, pull the fuel pump fuse? TIA

Its a wiring issue usually.

The harness isnt making a good connection at the FP or the harness itself is damaged.

I'd get it looked at ASAP.

Well crap. Was going to take it to the College World Series this weekend. Better make an appointment.

Would this be considered under the power train warranty since it's a possible fuel pump issue, or am I SOL on a warranty repair?

Do you guys have the originam owners manual? REad that to verify.

Powertrain usually covers the engine and hard parts and some sensors.

Every now and then the fuel delivery system will be covered in varying degrees (i.e. the injectors and the fuel rails etc but not the pump, or none of the fuel system, or all of it...)
