Is it possible to replace/retrofit manual drivers seat in 2015 Silverado?

I got a great deal on a new 2015 Silverado back in December. I love the truck, but the one thing it didn't have that I really wanted was a power adjustable drivers' seat. I was ok with it based on price of the vehicle. My last truck had manual seat, so this one should be fine too, right?

After 11,000 miles on the manual one, I'm wishing I had a power seat. Can't find a really good driving position.

You can't just buy a full seat assembly from GM, I've tried. You can buy parts, but not sure if possible to retrofit manual seat with power base, especially for seatback adjustment.

Have found a couple seats from wrecks on car-part.com but haven't pulled the trigger on them yet.

Are there other options? Are there upholstery shops that deal with this kind of thing? Am I just relegated to watching wrecking yards?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Wrecking yard probably the best bet. But have upholstery shop do leather. Then you don't have to match colors in your takeoff seat.

I'd bet a nickel that the power seat will drop right in, and you'll probably find a connector under your existing seat.

Years ago I bought some Tahoe leather/power seats off eBay and put them into my '98 Z71 pickup to replace the manual cloth seats. They fit and work just fine, and plugged right in. The only thing I lost was the quick tilt & slide function to access the back seats easily. I have a 3rd door so I didn't care.

Yeah it looks like one will plug right in, just have to get hold of a seat.

eBay if you don't want to wait on a yard.

Im guessing ebay would be the right place to look.

The wiring harness SHOULD be the same but you may have to run some extra.

Just keep in mind to disconnect the battery if you have seat mounted airbags.

Did you say once before to actually leave battery disconnected for a while?
