Looking to buy a 2016 Yukon XL Denali. Any recommendations on a GMC dealership?

Pretty sure that would be a Mortgage company looking to finance that.

Kidding, but holy hell that is a boatload of $$$ for a disposable asset. Granted, they are really fuggin nice. You want it and can pay for it and that is some great stuff.

Wife and I are going to replace her Sequoia this year. Walked onto a Chevy/Caddy lot and saw the stickers. This is her car we are going to replace. She looked at me and said "WTF?" She likes nice things/stuff and holds her own when it come to that. But when she looked at me and actually said that, I was relieved.

Hence my posts here looking at mid sized SUVs.

I know this doesn't help you with a dealership but see if any of your friends or you get a Corp discount they can share. When I priced it with mine, a fully loaded Denali XL was around $70k.

70k for a SUV? That's ass my dude

$70K does not seem outrageous considering a Ford Expedition EL is $60+

Any distance limitations? The Sewell dealerships in Dallas are top notch.

I work for a GM dealer in Ohio. Can run any GM VIN for you.

Till the end of May GM has hand picked a Yukon XL at each dealership to have an extra $3500 off.

I'd call around and find one that has a Denali that qualifies for that extra cash.

Keep in mind the hand selected discounted Yukons are from GM only, not the dealership, they have no control over which vehicles get that discount.

Being a big ticket item, I would also call around and find an owner's or owner's wife demo with 3-4k on the odometer.

Could save you upwards of $10k-$12k.

just my 2 cents

We bought a tahoe texas edition, lowest LS model, tore out cloth, added leather and a backup camera. Looks like an ltz minus the climate control and a moonroof. Saved 20k.

If it's a man made it will have problems. It's got warranty to 100k.

Yea, I would look for a nice used one. I did the same thing buying 2009 with about 35k. 3-4 year out you should be able to get 1/2 of MSRP.

Doesn't the previous body style have the self-destructing dash problem, or is that Chevrolet only?

07-14 Tahoe/Yukon. It was always in the same spot on the 1" strip of plastic over the glovebox.

At the last auto show we checked out the denali and escalade. Then in the custom conversion section we found vans with refrigerators, 37" flat screens, and 6 captain's charis for less money.

Yep. If I had kids, that's what the family would be rolling. The large sub makes no sense especially at these prices.

I've always laughed at that. If you could get over the thought of driving a van, you can get a very nice family hauler and road trip vehicle for much less than a SUV.

Distance isn't an issue. Thanks for the input.
