I found a truck i'm interested in. Problem is, on the car fax it has vehicle reported stolen then a month later vehicle recovered. No other issues on the carfax what so ever. The truck is being sold by a reputable honda dealer, and the price i think is a steal (pun intended). I'm going to look at it this afternoon but before I go, do you think this will have a bad title of some sort. The truck in question is a 2013 F150 Lariat with 12,000 miles on it. What kind of issues could I be dealing with getting into something like this?

The same issues that were bad enough to make the original owner dump a 2013 F150 Lariat with only 12,000 miles.

Would the owner have dumped it or the insurance company after a month of being gone? Maybe they already replaced it and auctioned it off once found and fixed to get some cash back.

Not sure. I went ahead and bought it anyways. It has a clean title. I'm thinking the stolen thing is some family affair. It was "stolen" and recovered in Missouri. All the points in navi show it was on the campus of mizzou. It was originally bought here in conroe and traded or sold to the dealership in conroe 2 weeks after recovery. It still has all original warranty so I'm happy. Oh and it's a boost!
