Anybody have either of these, or know much about the two? Thoughts?

Had the ML350 for a few years, I would not go the V6 route. It's performance is fine, but mine still had some legacy issues of the M272 that Mercedes was still working on.

The ML550, 350 Blue Tec, or the MAKE IT RAIN ML63 would be better options.

Nearly bought a GX, probably should have.

Bluetec or GTFO.

Purchased a Lexus GX460 for the wife (Certified Pre-Owned) about 8 months ago and have really liked it. Gas mileage is not great at about 16 for mixed use, but it is a heavy truck with a V8 so that was expected. Interior materials feel very quality and everything feels solid. We have a newborn baby and it works great with the car seat and still has lots of room in the rear cargo area. Have never used the third row, but they fold flat, so not in the way.

I neglected to mention that we had narrowed down our search between the GX and the ML350 as well. The ML350 was fine, but we are really happy we decided to go with the GX due to cargo space. This is our family vehicle for my wife and the baby - never realized how much space baby crap (strollers, pack-n-plays, etc.) could take up. For a family vehicle, it has been the perfect size.

ML550 or ML63 AMG or GTFO

The wife drives an ML350 and it has had no issues.

My only complaint is aftermarket parts are very minimal.
