My #20 fuse keeps blowing when I pop my '01 WJ into reverse. I've eliminated the reverse lights as the problem and can't for the life of me fix the damn thing. #20 fuse is tied to blinkers, reverse lights, blower motor, and apparently the neutral safety switch. Blinker relay is good, blower motor is good, and neutral safety switch is TBD.

I saw the neutral safety switch mentioned on an obscure jeep forum somewhere, but it didn't ever state if that was the fix for the problem. Any of you guys ever come across this type of problem?

Did you look at the trailer wiring? What happens if you unplug the reverse lights?

When I unplug both tail lights it still blows, don't think it is related to the trailer wiring. I'm just going to take it to the shop tomorrow and over pay to have someone else figure it out.

Motor may be good, but drawing too many amps? Could also be the backup lights or something like that are grounded or shorted.
