Silvy, I won't help you finance this for racetruck, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Largest piston engine

I know they have gas turbines that make more power (as I work on designing plants to use said turbines), but this is pretty cool.

From the comments: there's a 14-cylinder version of that one (pictured in article is a 6-cylinder one):

I'll try to get a pic of the size of an exhaust valve out of one of these engines.

My favorite ridiculous engine swap that was actually done:

Allison aircraft engine

into BMW Isetta microcar

Canyon, Urkel does not approve of your post.

no front door, no three wheel action, nothing that makes the original car so awesome.

Allison. Growing up we had several friends who ran them in tractors (not for field work). If you could get them started they were beast, but I've seen them pushed off a trailer early one morning and winched up by a car's headlights and never run in between.

Define largest...

I'll have to search for it later, but I've seen a photo of a couple dancing inside a cylinder on top of a piston.

The Isetta was a four wheel car. The back wheels were just set very narrow, like maybe 20 inches apart. We had one when I was a kid. Definitely one of those "sorry we sold it" cars.
