Drained and refilled power steering fluid in the 350Z. Was messier than expected but not too bad.
I think I might have finally pinpointed the source of the front end clunking and popping over the last several months. The popping had recently gotten worse, so I got under there and looked around once again. Turns out three of the eight fasteners in the front subframe crossmember were looser than the FSM torque spec, including the two biggest ones. One of the smaller bolts was barely holding on. The threaded hole in the unibody is pretty well stripped out so looks like I'll be picking up a tap/die set. Keeping my fingers crossed this solves the noise problem.
