I took the restrictor plate off, give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But let's keep that on the down low. She's not exactly street legal.

You don't see many of those in that kind of condition. My first car was a '79 (non-Z28) in dark carmine metallic, and just about as clean. I loved that car.

I'd strongly recommend losing the front plate.

That plate is actually my brothers. Came off his car for the picture and picture only. They matched the car better than the plate I'm currently using

None. Front plate looks no good on those cars.

My wife's car has never had a front plate in 5 years. She's gotten one verbal warning.

I've probably driven a total of 4 or 5 years in vehicles without front plates, including the 79 Camaro I mentioned. I've gotten one warning and one ticket. On the ticket, I was stopped for speeding, and the officer did me a favor by citing me for the front plate instead. Not a moving violation so no need to worry with defensive driving or deferred to keep it off the record. Pay the fine and move on.
