Friend's 2000 Jetta has broken cupholders. They fold up into the dash when not in use. The whole assembly is made out of plastic, and apparently is not very durable. Any options other than an exact replacement from the dealer? Looks like almost a $100 for the part, which is way too much for a piece of crap plastic piece.
