Power steering fluid is brown, I don't think that's good. Can a car noob like me do a power steering fluid flush? 02 jeep liberty (POS)

Yup.

Buy a turkey baster from the store and suck it all out, put fresh stuff in, start car, turn wheel lock to lock, suck out stuff again, refill.

Repeat if necessary.

Read your manual to be sure, but IIRC ATF+4 is recommended, which walmart sells in their generic form.
