Parents are looking for a new or semi-new SUV.

In the past she's had a tahoe, but its getting to a point to where removing the seats is to much work.

They would like an Tahoe-size SUV with seats that fold flat so you don't have to physically remove them to make room for cargo.

My Armada Platinum does it and it's AMAZING!! can do it from either the second row for the third row or the back hatch area.

New explorer does it.

Third row or second row? I am pretty sure most of them have a power foldaway third row seat option now.

Expedition does. I have no idea why GM hasn't done this yet.

Adds cost, weight, takes up space, something else to break. It is convenient, but I sure wouldn't pay for it.

We have it in our 11 expedition. It's awesome. Having that feature is no different that any other power feature that could go wrong. Might as well get manual windows, door locks, and mirrors then.

I believe the reason is solid rear axle for Tahoe/Yukon versus indy suspension for Expedition so there is no room.

I can fit just as much stuff in my expedition EL as I can my wife's parents suburban.

I think it's a just a couple cubic ft difference.

The fold down flat in the expedition is awesome.

Limited and Platinum Sequoias have it for both the second and third rows.
