Shopping around for a used one, and I'm having a hard time telling the differences (to the eye) to the 4 years.

Really love the new model of coupes they put out in 2008 and for the price, nothing really compares that's similar in style and type IMO.

I'm sure there's some differences under the hood, but as far as looks go, they look to be unchanged year over year the last 4 years, no?

Edit:

Anyone know where I can do a side by side comparison of specs for each of the years?

6 speed makes it very less MEH for sure.

the 2011 had a couple cosmetic changes, rear lights for one.
Also read up on the brake issues during this span. I want to say the rear brake pads have worn out way quicker than usual.

Other than brakes and road noise the honda's are great (for what they are - reliable and nice)

Also,

reason I bring this is up is that obviously, 2008 can be had for much less $ then the others. I'm finding some pretty low mileage ones too under 25k in some cases.

Are you looking with or without nav? I would think you should be able to find plenty for less than $25K. I paid less than $25K new for an 09 V6 EX-L without nav, but that includes a trade of a 97 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a bunch of miles and frozen brakes.

Complete make over in 2012 for the accord.

Sorry,

I meant less than 25,000 miles for a used 2008 model. I've found some in the $19,000 range without nav. That's low miles as well considering it's a 2008.

And as far as I can tell, there's hardly any differences between 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011... besides price which is to be expected.

I think the 2008 models with low miles can be had for $19-$21,000

2009, 2010, 2011 with under 30,000 miles are around $3-$5 grand more. I'm just trying to see if there's any justification in getting the same car essentially while spending a few thousand more.

I would get the 2008 knowing belts, hoses, and tires were likely. Hopefully you can get one with a good maintenance history.

We bought a 2003 Civic from a friend; she had all maint. done at the dealer. That was an easy purchase.
