Need to know if a STX38 mower deck can be modded to fit under a LT155. Looks very similar and shouldn't take too many mods other than belts but wanted to get more info before diving in headfirst.

They MIGHT be interchangeable...I used to work for a dealer and we would do that when people wanted a larger or smaller deck.

They are both 38"- and the 2:12:19 PM can handle up to a 42 OEM. Hopefully it works- there are a lot more used STX decks out there than LT
