I've got an '08 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 single cab - bone stock with 12K miles. When I turn right or left at "surface street" speeds (10mph-25mph), there is a clunk that comes from the front end - you can feel it in your feet, as well as hear it. It doesn't always happen - maybe only 50% of the time.
I've been searching fullsizechevy.com, but every thread I come across is about an older model with one thing or another worn or in need of lube.
#1 - does anyone have any idea what I'm dealing with and #2 - does anyone know of any other GM truck tech boards where I could do some digging for an answer?
And yes - I know "it's under warranty" and "take it to the dealership," but I like to know what I'm dealing with before I blindly trust some random mechanic at the dealership. In my experience, they're full of absolute dog**** 99.9% of the time.
