Are you talking about an owners manual or a Chilton's type manual? If an owners manual is what you need, you can go to this site and register your VIN number. You can then download a free .pdf file of your specific manual.

Are you talking about the workshop service manual? You can usually find them on ebay...

yeah not the owners manual but the shop manual. I found some on ebay but I was hoping to pay less than $45 + shipping.

$45 is cheap compared to some other vehicles.

Those manuals are the best resources you can have, bar none.

I paid $20 for one for my three wheeler on ebay, I'd look there. I know a lot of autoparts stores have them too.

Just bought a 98 GT...Mechanically its pretty sound but I'm looking to do some first mods and it needs a new gear for the odometer and a new coolant temp switch. I'm barely a novice at automotive work outside of the basics so I thought it would be a good resource

I just bought a 98 GT off a friend at work a couple weeks ago. The odometer was broken as well. I fixed it myself and it was pretty easy. Try this site:
