I know I'm an old man yelling at clouds but seriously **** this event. A bunch of adults scheduled the tennis courts until 5am through the school. They don't have any type of late night noise permit but since they scheduled it the cops won't kick them out.

They're out behind my house yelling and squeaking shoes for the past 3 and a half hours and they're only halfway done.

I think they said 1/4 of proceeds are going to the education foundation.

The BEEF? the foundation that helped make up the LRPC for the bond and the VOTE yes campaign and is full of folks that are financially impacted on where schools are built and sell land to the ISD for those locations? Glad they raise money for classrooms but our (some) teachers still use donors choose type of fundraising sites.

Yes, BEEF. I have seen them do good things for the district, and their intentions are good. I don't know what involvement they may have had with the bond election.

I realize that and it's been around since 1992. I am glad it's there.

Wish they had thought of a different name, but I guess it is catchy.
