Based on the frequency that some of my neighbors are watering, you wouldn't know that it's rained at all. The water flows off the yards into the street as fast as it leaves the sprinkler heads.

We are supposed to have a new science wing under construction. They had stated foundation excavation. Now it is hard to tell if we need to just scrap it and put in an swimming and diving facility, or rent it out on weekends for the guys who like to go mudding.

Up 5 1/2 feet since March, but still 7 feet low.

Tribs still somewhat elevated upstream, so it wouldn't surprise me if the lake got to 588 or more with no more rain

The 'Island' at Belton Lake is finally an island again. Not sure how long its been since the water has been high enough.

We drove through San Marcos a couple of hours before it flooded Saturday and are stuck in Austin with Tornadoes on the ground near Temple, Leander, and Lampases.

Just made it in from round rock. The Lightning and rain were unreal. Tornados possibly on the ground just east of salado and another just east of belton. Rain is crazy in Dawson ranch. Lights flickering

Just out of secure location for the second time.. and the system is not over yet.

I'm ok. And my brother was able to get his camper out of the rv park yesterday but the park flooded so he's not sure what's going to happen. I could hear the tornado siren in Belton from my house and I have friends that live in town that are hunkered down.

I think there is one more small line to go through if it does not play out first, but rain still in the forecast for several days in the next week.

I remember when my kids were little and there was a giant waterfall as the water was over the spillway at Belton. If we had not had such a drought first, it probably would have happened again this May.

North waco behind airport. It's China creek. Usually is just mosquito pools and tall Johnson grass, from bottom of fence down to badin is prolly 20 feet. It's about 10-15 feet still from our fence line

I think you're right. Lake Belton would certainly be close to full later this week if we had not started out so low

I expect it will be at conservation pool level in the next 24-48 hours and will go up from there..

Spillway is at 631 feet. That's 50 feet above where we were in March

Still a lot of water coming down now though. We'll see where it ends up

Just a heads up if you didn't already know, the vast majority of people with Bartlett Electric will not have power until around noon tomorrow. Tornado touched down north of buckholtz (sp.?) And everybody from rogers to thorndale/thrall area is out. B.E. said fields are too wet and muddy to get to, bringing poles and people in via helicopter to get to the area.

I've been stuck in rogers all weekend with family and around 4:30 the power cut, so that's been fun. Also dad has farms over between rogers and buckholtz so that made for an eventful day.

Anyway, figured I'd give a heads up. Me personally I went back here to waco to my apartment where I have power before heading to Austin for work tomorrow, so that'll be fun.

We got flooded in the Coupland, Taylor, Thrall area. Had never seen the streets running like rivers until yesterday.

We've been without power since yesterday afternoon when the rain bomb hit. But out neigbors have power and there's a street light illuminating our driveway (our circuit is F'd).
