I am starting the process to build a house in Key Allegro and was wondering if anyone knows of any reputable architects that can handle the design and construction administration. Already spoken to Stephen Haynes in Rockport and would like to interview a couple more before deciding. Thanks!

I'll see if I can get you some names. In the meantime, what is the status of your bulkhead? If your lot is without a home or it will be torn down, now is the best time to replace it with a new one at a higher elevation. We replaced ours in early '22 so I have lots of thoughts on this if you want to discuss off-line.

Smith Nguyen (Aggie) located in Rockport

Levy Dikema, located in Corpus but lives on KA

James Kissling, Kissling Architecture

All have experience on KA and are recommenced by the contractor that I have used for major renovations to my KA house who also does new builds.

We interviewed Smith Nguyen and Stephen Haynes. Both were impressive. I would recommend either one.

Using Stephen and have been pleased with the process so far. Very attentive to what we want and his team knows what they are doing.
